Blackhawks Re-Sign Viktor Stalberg

Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed 25-year old forward Viktor Stalberg to a two-year deal reportedly worth a total of $1.75 million (cap number of $875,000), avoiding arbitration.

In his first season with the Blackhawks last year, Stalberg recorded 12 goals and 12 assists in 77 regular-season games and scored just 1 goal in the 2011 postseason.

Viktor Stalberg was acquired by Chicago on June 30, 2010, from Toronto.
