Chicago Blackhawks star forward Patrick Kane suffered a left wrist injury during offseason training. The team says Kane hurt his hand in the 2nd to last game of the regular season and re-aggravated it during recent workouts.
Team physician Dr. Michael Terry released this statement: "He will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a scaphoid fracture. We anticipate a full recovery in 6-8 weeks and in time for training camp. We do not anticipate any long-term issues."
